Occasionally Overland cars are used on intercity passenger trains to release N and Z sets for specials or to run double sets to provide additional capacity. This morning's Dimboola pass. behind S313 and S310 has Overland cars substituting for the regular N set. Consist is CD-BJ-BJ-RBJ-AJ-PCO with the S running elephant style. S313 and S310 depart Ballarat on time at 9.55am at 24th November 1984.
