A85 delivery run 5 June 1984

 

At 6:10am on the 5th June 1984, 934 and C505 on 9130 Adelaide-Melbourne Express Goods coast down grade through the junction at Ballarat C Box on the 9130 Adelaide - Melbourne Express Goods.  934 and C505 are towing A85 dead attached. The A class is on its delivery run to Victoria and V/Line.


A85 crosses Doveton Street  in the consist of 9130 Adelaide - Melbourne Express Goods.

B85 had been sent west for rebuilding from a ML2 to AAT22C-2R at Clyde's plant in Rosewater, South Australia 14 months ago. A85 is the fourth B class to be rebuild by Clyde.
