Super Special

T386 sits in the arrival and departure sidings in Ballarat Yard on a Superphosphate Special to Skipton.

Today the first superphosphate special of the season was run with T386 venturing out on to the Skipton line with a short train of 10 GY's trailed by a ZMF.

At 7:58am on 13th April 1984, T386 rounds the bend past the Doveton Street Sidings with a Super Special to Skipton.

The wagons will be deposited in the yards at Linton and Skipton for local fertilizer contractors to empty.  With the speed limit of 15km/h in place on sections of the branch it will take several hours for the train to reach the terminus. T386 will return BONA to Ballarat.

T386 with ZMF returning from Skipton slows as it enters Ballarat Station.
