Consist is  CD1-8AZ-2BRS-5BZ-213BS-15ACN-40BRN-13BN-D.  It's a colourful consist with CD1 (maroon), 8AZ (blue), 2BRS (orange with tea-cup logo), 5BZ (orange no logo), 213BS (orange with V/Line logo), N15 (orange V/Line logo). 

S310-X48 sit at platform 2 awaiting departure time with the 8130 Up Dimboola pass. S305-T393 on a block grain working from the CRP at Berriwillock in no.3 road will follow 8130 once it has cleared Warrenheip.

8130 grinds to a halt in platform 2. The train will have a 6 minute stop, before departing at 9:45am. In the adjacent no.3 road is S305 and T393 on a block grain working from CRP silo at Berriwollock. S305-T393 will tackle Warrenheip bank once S310-X48 have cleared the section Ballarat East to Warrenheip.

On time at 9:45am S310-X48 accelerates through Ballarat yard, passing Y150 on yard pilot duties. Beginning the accent of 1 in 52 grade of Warrenheip Bank, 8130 passes S311 on the 8105 Down Dimboola pass. 8105 runs via North Geelong, 114 minute express run between Melbourne and Ballarat.
