Yesterday Y150 with a ZLP was sent BONA out to Smythesdale on the Skipton branchline to retrieve a rake of GY stored their in the loop. With harvesting about to commence for the predicted bumper grain for 1983-84, grain wagons that have been stored at various locations around the state are being returned to service.

Returning to Ballarat, Y150 runs past the backyards of houses in Little Clyde Street with the rake of GY's |
Interestingly the first wagon in the rake was GY 17030, the highest numbered GY, with GY 904 one of the last wagon red GY's still grain proof.
Almost back at Ballarat, Y150 crosses Doveton Street with the rake of GY's retrieved from Smythesdale.
