Long grass

Long grass is a common feature along railway lines. I decided to add some long grass using an old technique to hide the edge of the lift out board that the Ballarat cattle yards have been built on.

The grass is an old pieces of rope, unravelled, cut into short lengths and stuck down with PVA glue. A gentle push of the top while the glue is drying completes the process. Cost nothing if you discount the small ammount of glue used. The rope is over 30 years old and as it was outside for a period is naturally weathered with variations in colour.

The edge of the board is now hidden by the long grass
