At Dusk

 As the days grow longer, the opportunity was taken to photograph the passing parade of trains through Ballarat East at dusk.

At 7:45pm T367 grinds to a halt in the arrival sidings with from grain for the Ballarat Flour Mills from Donald. The T will run to Ballarat East locomotine depot and shut down for the weekend. The wagons will be shunted to the weighbridge road by the pilot for weighing in the morning. 

At 7:50pm the sun reflects off the nose of recently repainted S310 as it glides down Warrenheip bank through Ballarat East on the 8133 Dimboola pass. The train with pause at Ballarat station for 10 minutes before continuing its journey west.

T321 departs Ballarat on the 9170 Ballarat - Melbourne Yard Trough Goods. The train includes a VPFX hopper with flour for Westall, two TW empty oil tanks, a VOAA loaded with containers of Kaolin, VFDA with a shipping container of carparts from Bendix Mintex at Redan, an empty VPCX cement hopper and a VBPY with freight centre loading.

T321 on 9170 Ballarat - Melbourne Yard Through Goods runs past T367 and Y150 in the arrival and departure sidings.

 At 8:53pm the last rays of sunlight reflect off S311-S307 on 9147 Melbourne- Adelaide Express Goods.
