The first superphosphate train of the season with T331 venturing out on to the Skipton line with a short train of only 3 GY's trailed by a ZL. The wagons will be deposited in the yard at Linton and the T will return BONA to Ballarat.
T331 runs past the Garden City Flour Mill at Ballarat North with a short Super special to Linton on the Skipton Line. Behind the T is the tail of the up Horsham pass led by B65.
T331 is about to cross MacArthur Street and take the staff from the waiting signalman at Ballarat C Box.
Now we are in March I have switched to an autumn timetable for operating sessions commencing tonight. The main changes from the summer timetable is occasional super specials and a reduction in grain trains (clearing what remains of harvest from the disastrous 1982-83 season). There are also changes in the composition of passenger trains with the introduction of additional N sets and refurbished S and Z cars and further withdrawals of older wooden bodied passenger cars. In addition the Daylight Overland trial of the summer has ended. Further changes occur at the end of April 1983 when roster N15 commences.
