Detailing around the Train Examiners cabin, Yard supervisor/foremen and numbertakers office

This week I finished some of the detailing around the Train Examiners cabin, Yard supervisor/foremen and numbertakers office, shunters mess and locker room. I added the tall stumps with bracing beneath the Train examiners cabin, as it sat partly over the side of the embankment that the Ballarat rail yards was situated on. This was made out of balsa and thick cardboard and was painted with a mix of Humbrol 110 and 63 paints to create weathered timber look.
I also added window glazing, including fostered top panes but they are difficult to see with the shadow from the roof.
I've added details around the buildings that can be seen in the photos on the Stations Past and Pilbara Rail websites http://www.stationspast.net/victoria/ballarat/ https://www.pilbararailways.com.au/gallery/index.php?cat=2&page=2
This has included barrier fencing, bench seat, rubbish bins, briquette bin, signalling conduit etc.
I've weathered the building with powders, giving it a light dusting of dirt on the walls from passing trains.
Next building project will be Ballarat A Signal Box but I have a few wagon projects that I want to finish first plus detailing the station platform and surrounds including some signals, therefore the photo mock-up will have to stay around for a bit long.
Shunters climb aboard Y150 which has arrived from Ballarat East Locomotive Depot. The Y will be used on yard pilot duties and will run the Flour Mill pilot to the Garden City Flour Mill at Ballarat North later in the morning.
