Situated adjacent to Ballarat B signal box were 3 signal relay cabinets. These were produced using styrene sheet. The cabinets consist of 2 pieces of 80 thou sheet glued back to back. The top was then filed on a 30 degree angle and a strip of 20 thou styrene glue on to produce the roof. The concrete base is made out of 40 thou sheet with the edges rounded with a file. The cabinet doors were scribed on the front side with scraps of styrene used to produce the vents.
I'm still working on construction of Ballarat B signal box which will occupy the vacant area in the left of the above photograph. Progress has slowed due to surgery on my shoulder and spine, but I'm hoping that when its complete the scene will look something like the photo below.
