Post 33, was situated near the Armstrong St Bridge and controlled movements from the down mainline towards Ballarat station and signals 26, 27, 28 and 29 on the gantry next to Lydiard Street. It survived after the track arrangements and signalling was rationalised in the 1992, but was subsequently removed in the clean-up of this area when Ballarat's station commuter carpark was expanded in the mid 2000's.
As its a small signal I decided to attempt to model it with bits and pieces that I had in the scrapbox. The signal mast is made from balsawood filed to the right shape. Wire was used to produce the handrails while scraps of styrene sheet were used to make the bracket, cap, lamp and frame.
The disc was reproduced from a photo which was printed on adhesive film and fixed to a piece of styrene.
I'm not sure if I have the position correct and if it should be further from the down mainline (although it would be partly obscured by bridge). It certainly improves the aesthetics of the around the bridge. Next I'm going to tackle signal gantry with posts 26, 27, 28 and 29.
