Off the workbench 2

The GH hopper wagon featured in the previous off the workbench post has been painted, decals added and weathered. In the process it's changed identity now being number 243 (as I couldn't find a 6 to number it 236!).

F212 shunts GH243 at Ballarat North Railway workshops. A stripped F class sits in the rotten row awaiting scrapping.

It was painted with Humbrol matt yellow (no.24) and Revell matt red/brown  (no.37). The weathering was done with AIM powders using mainly datk earth and grime black.

I'm not sure that I'm completely happy with weathering. I think that it needs more grime beneath the walkways on the sloped section of the roof. For now it will enter service as is, leaving Ballarat North workshops with the workshops pilot during the next operating session.
